London’s Royal Festival Hall hosted the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday, February 22nd, a key indicator of potential success at the upcoming Oscars. The ceremony, hosted by “The Traitors” star Alan Cumming, saw a dazzling array of stars grace the red carpet and celebrate the best in British and international cinema.

Red Carpet Arrivals

Among the first to arrive were nominees Chase Infiniti and Odessa A’zion. Infiniti captivated in a red strapless gown with a flared hem, whereas A’zion opted for a black off-the-shoulder lace dress. “Hamnet” stars Jacobi and Noah Jupe made a joint appearance, posing together on the carpet. Emma Stone, in a sleek cut-out dress, and Cillian Murphy, looking dashing in a double-breasted suit, also drew significant attention. Leading Nominees

Paul Thomas Anderson’s action thriller “One Battle After Another” led the nominations with 14, closely followed by Ryan Coogler’s vampire horror “Sinners” with 13. Both films were nominated for Best Film, alongside Chloé Zhao’s “Hamnet,” Josh Safdie’s “Marty Supreme,” and Joachim Trier’s “Sentimental Value.”

Ryan Coogler made BAFTA history as the first Black winner of the Original Screenplay award for “Sinners”.
