Cap d’Agde Job Forum Connects Employers and Job Seekers with 1,200 Opportunities
The 4 Seasons Jobs Forum, held this Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Palais des Congrès in Cap d’Agde, proved to be a significant event for job seekers in the region. Organized by Agglomération Hérault Méditerranée, the Bleu Invest In Cap d’Agde agency, and France Travail, the forum saw a strong turnout from both candidates and employers.
Nearly 1,200 Job Offers Available
A total of 73 recruiters participated in the event, offering close to 1,200 job opportunities across a diverse range of sectors. These included tourism, hotels, restaurants, commerce, services, boating, entertainment, agriculture, leisure, and construction. The forum ran from 8:30 a.m. To 1:00 p.m., facilitating direct interaction between job seekers and potential employers.
Positive Feedback from Attendees
The atmosphere at the forum was described as lively, with numerous interviews taking place, CVs being submitted, and information exchanged. Manon, a young resident of Agde and a student at Lycée Loubatière, expressed optimism about her prospects, stating she had made numerous contacts and now had choices for summer employment after previous experience as a waitress.
Challenges for Young Job Seekers
While the forum offered many opportunities, some challenges remain, particularly for younger candidates. Lola, a 17-year-old, highlighted the complexities of hiring minors, noting that specific administrative procedures and restrictions on tasks like night function or serving alcohol can limit opportunities despite strong motivation.
Value for Recruiters
Recruiters also found the forum to be a valuable resource. Mathieu, director of a local restaurant, emphasized the effectiveness of meeting candidates in person, even with the use of social media for recruitment. He noted the event’s success in facilitating connections and making contacts.
Key Role in Boosting Local Employment
As the summer season approaches, the Cap d’Agde job forum continues to play a crucial role in connecting local businesses with potential employees, contributing to economic growth and employment in the region.
