Empiria Group to Launch Design Hotels’ Newest Member, Eréma, on Milos in June 2026

Empiria Group will debut Eréma, a Member of Design Hotels, on June 15, 2026, marking the hospitality group’s first property on the island of Milos and its continued expansion in the Cyclades. Located on the southeastern coast of Milos near Provatas Beach, Eréma is designed as a refined retreat emphasizing stillness, space, and a natural connection to the environment.

Design Inspired by Milos’ Volcanic Landscape

The architecture and interiors of Eréma, conceived by Athens-based ID Laboratorium led by Stamos Hondrodimos, directly respond to the island’s volcanic terrain. The design incorporates stone, marble, and earth tones to create a calm and grounded atmosphere. Generous openings and fluid transitions blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces, offering panoramic views of the Aegean Sea .

Exclusive Accommodations with Private Pools

Eréma comprises 41 all-suite accommodations, each featuring a private pool and uninterrupted sea views. The suites are categorized into four types:

• Element Suites: Intimate one-bedroom retreats with private terraces and pools.
• Drift Suites: More spacious layouts with separate living areas and sun-drenched terraces.
• Horizon Suites: The largest suites, featuring flowing interiors that open to private outdoor spaces and expansive sea views.
• Unity Suites: Two-bedroom configurations suitable for families or longer stays, combining generous indoor space with expansive terraces and private pools.

Culinary Experiences Curated by Chef Yiannis Kioroglou

The resort will feature two restaurants overseen by celebrated Greek chef Yiannis Kioroglou. Kioroglou’s culinary philosophy centers on authentic local cuisine, thoughtfully reinterpreted with modern techniques and a focus on seasonal ingredients . His career includes experience at La Petite Maison in Cannes and La Guerite in Saint Barth.
