Boise, Idaho – A fundraising dinner featuring Donald Trump Jr. On Monday, February 23, 2026, drew both supporters and protesters to Boise, underscoring ongoing tensions surrounding immigration policy and the Trump administration’s agenda. The event, hosted by the Idaho Majority Club, took place at Boise Centre East.

Event Details and Ticket Prices

The Idaho Majority Club’s “Celebrate America 250” dinner was designed to commemorate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. The organization, a Republican political action committee, focuses on fundraising and promoting conservative candidates in Idaho. Tickets for the event ranged in price, with general admission costing $300 per person or $2,500 for a table of ten. VIP tickets were available for $550 each, and VIP tables for ten cost $5,000 KTVB.

Protests and Arrest

Outside the Boise Centre, protesters gathered to voice opposition to Trump Jr.’s visit and express concerns about immigration policy. Idaho ICE Community Watch organizers were among those present KTVB.

Boise Police reported one arrest during the protest. A woman was arrested for resisting and obstructing officers after repeatedly using the siren function on a bullhorn, despite warnings from police. Boise Police stated that the siren function is not protected under free speech KTVB.

Idaho’s Stance on Immigration

Governor Brad Little recently signed Executive Order 2025-03, the Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Act, on February 18, 2025, demonstrating Idaho’s support for President Donald Trump’s immigration policies Idaho Governor’s Office. The executive order aims to reinforce cooperation with federal efforts to secure the border and enforce immigration laws. Governor Little noted a shift in federal cooperation since President Trump’s recent inauguration Idaho Governor’s Office.

This visit marked Donald Trump Jr.’s second trip to Boise. He previously visited in 2016, meeting with donors at Jackson Jet Center Idaho Press.
