Mayweather and Pacquiao to Rematch in Las Vegas on Netflix
Boxing fans are in for a treat as Floyd Mayweather Jr. And Manny Pacquiao are set to reignite their rivalry with a rematch scheduled for September 19th at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The bout, announced on February 23rd and 24th, 2026, will be streamed globally on Netflix, marking the first professional boxing match held at the state-of-the-art venue Los Angeles Times.
A Decade After the “Fight of the Century”
The upcoming fight is a sequel to their highly anticipated 2015 clash, dubbed the “Fight of the Century,” which Mayweather won by unanimous decision ESPN. That event generated 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and a live gate of $72 million, setting records in boxing history Los Angeles Times.
Both Fighters Return From Retirement
Both Mayweather and Pacquiao have come out of retirement to make this rematch happen. Mayweather, 50-0, hadn’t fought professionally since 2017 Los Angeles Times. He recently announced a multifight partnership with CSI Sports/Fight Sports following a 2026 exhibition against Mike Tyson DAZN. Pacquiao, 47, also returned to the ring last July, battling Mario Barrios to a majority draw ESPN, and is scheduled for an exhibition fight against Ruslan Provodnikov on April 18th ESPN.

As of February 24th, 2026, the weight class and number of rounds for the rematch have not yet been determined ESPN. The event will be produced by EverWonder Studio, Hidden Empire and Limitless X Holdings, and promoted by Manny Pacquiao Promotions and Mayweather Promotions in partnership with CSI Sports/Fight Sports ESPN.
Mayweather’s Confidence
Mayweather expressed his confidence in the upcoming fight, stating, “I already fought and beat Manny once,” and predicting the same outcome in the rematch WTVM.
