A guide in a museum in Villefranche-sur-Saône, the candidate is not new to the game, having previously tried his luck in 2019 and again last year. This perseverance has paid off, as in just 14 victories, he has accumulated a prize pool of 81,000 euros and five bells. During the show this Friday, February 27th, the 30-year-traditional added an additional 6,000 euros to his total.
A Symbolic Milestone
With his winnings, Maxime confirmed his strategy of moving forward “step by step,” while keeping a symbolic milestone in mind: reaching 100,000 euros. “It’s huge to say it already,” he admitted, acknowledging how far he’s come.
Real Estate Dreams
Maxime is already planning for the future beyond the show. He revealed to Nagui that he is increasingly focused on a real estate project. “Incredibly clearly, when we come to the show, we imagine winning 5,000, 10,000, 20,000… I am at a stage in my life at 30 where the real estate project, I think about it more and more,” he confided.
Rather than indulging in travel or purchases, the Maestro is prioritizing investment. He views the money as more than just a television jackpot. “And what better start in life than this money earned here?” he added with emotion.
Staying Close to Home
Maxime doesn’t dream of relocating far from his roots. When asked where he would like to settle, he replied without hesitation: “For the moment, I am working in Villefranche-sur-Saône, but I will really stay around Lyon, Villeurbanne, exactly. So we would stay in this area for the moment.”
It remains to be seen how far his journey will capture him—and whether reaching the 100,000 euro mark will accelerate his life plans.
