Patrick Kearney, Inniskeen Community Pillar, Dies at 89
Patrick (Pat) Kearney of Ballintra, Inniskeen, Monaghan, Ireland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1st, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was 89 years classic.
A Life Remembered
Born to Alice and Patrick Kearney, Mr. Kearney was predeceased by his parents and his grandson, Michael. He is survived by his wife, Rosaleen, and his children, Therese, Niall (Gwen), and David (Elaine). He was a beloved grandfather to Conor, Timmy, Daniel, Laura, Ben, Naoise, Senan, and Conan.
Mr. Kearney is also remembered by his sisters, Kitty, Mary, Ann, Briege, and Dympna, as well as his brothers, Matthew and Owen. He leaves behind sisters-in-law Alice, Mary (U.S.A.), and Kathleen McEroy, and brothers-in-law Jim O’Neill and Eugene McElroy, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at his residence on Monday, March 2nd, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Tuesday, March 3rd, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Removal will seize place on Wednesday morning at 12:30 PM to Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen, for a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
