SMITHFIELD, RI – The Siena Women’s Lacrosse team (5-3) will continue its season with a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) game against Fairfield (5-3) on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
Recent Game Recap: Siena vs. Rhode Island
Siena Women’s Lacrosse recently fell short against Rhode Island, losing 7-6 on Wednesday, March 10, 2026, in a non-conference game at Bryant University’s Beirne Stadium. Despite a power-play goal in the fourth quarter, the Saints were unable to secure the win.
Koehler Nieman scored a crucial goal for Siena at 13:33 of the fourth quarter, assisted by Hailey Deptula, tying the game at 6-6. However, Rhode Island’s Katie Cumins responded with the game-winning goal at 10:24, assisted by Caitlin Dellecave.
Avery Connolly opened the scoring for Siena with a free position goal, while Olivia Nicholson contributed multiple goals throughout the game. The Saints and Rams were tied 4-4 at halftime.
McAllister Salter played a key role defensively for Siena, causing a turnover and making several saves.
