William & Mary Women’s Golf Competes at Red Rocks Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary women’s golf team is set to compete at the 19th Annual Red Rocks Invitational, taking place from March 13-15 at Oakcreek Country Club in Sedona, Arizona. Northern Arizona University is hosting the tournament.

Tournament Details

The three-day event will feature 18 holes of competition each day. The first and second rounds will be played on Friday and Saturday, teeing off from holes No. 1 and No. 10 beginning at 8:27 a.m. MST (11:27 a.m. ET). The final round on Sunday will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. MST (11:30 a.m. ET).

The Field

William & Mary will be competing against a field that includes: Weber State, Northern Arizona, Stonehill, Southern Illinois, Gonzaga, Southern Utah, Colorado, Embry-Riddle (AZ), Grand Canyon, Wichita State, and Montana. A full list of participants can be found on Scoreboard CLIPPD.

Last Time Out

The Tribe began their spring season at the UNCW River Landing Classic, finishing eighth with a total score of 985 (+121). Katie Suk, playing as an individual, led the team with a tie for 29th place, carding a 242 (+26), including a season-best 77 in the second round.

• William & Mary is showing improvement this season, currently averaging 939.25 over 54 holes, which is projected to be 11 shots better than their average from the 2024-25 season.
• The team’s current round average of 313.79 ranks 13th in school history.
• Jennifer Osborne and Faith Garcia are leading the Tribe in scoring average, with averages of 78.07 and 78.27, respectively.
• Freshmen Lilly Reed Black and Reagan Garnsey are performing well, ranking among the top 25 on the Tribe’s single-season rookie list. Black has a stroke average of 79.64, and Garnsey has an average of 80.0.
