“Italy of the First Italians” Exhibition Extended at Novara Castle
The exhibition “Italy of the First Italians,” organized by METS Percorsi d’Arte in collaboration with the Municipality of Novara and the Castle of Novara, has been extended and will remain open to the public until Monday, April 6, 2026. Originally scheduled to close on April 6th, the extension provides art enthusiasts with additional time to explore this unique portrayal of Italy’s formative years.
Exploring Italy’s Birth as a Nation
The exhibition, which began on November 1, 2025, presents a thematic journey through the rooms of the Castle of Novara, showcasing paintings from both public and private collections. “The Italy of the First Italians” aims to offer a visual narrative of the nation’s origins.

To accommodate visitors, the exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Anticipated early openings at 9:00 AM will occur on the following dates:
