Volksbühne Affing to Premiere “Wer glaubt scho an Gspenster?” – A Paranormal Comedy

Affing, Germany – The Volksbühne Affing theater group is set to premiere its latest production, “Wer glaubt scho an Gspenster?” (Who believes in ghosts?), a “paranormal” comedy by Christian Ziegler. Performances are scheduled for March 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th, 2026, at the Mehrzweckhalle Affing.

A Playful Exploration of the Supernatural

Director Josef Draxler has kept the specifics of the plot under wraps, but the play promises a blend of science and superstition, financial motivations, and long-held family conflicts. Audiences can anticipate wordplay, situational humor, and unexpected twists. The cast includes 13 actors, with Silvia Schubert, Bernadette Bäck, and Lucia Griesbeck joining the troupe as newcomers this year.
