Utah Mammoth Sign Caleb Desnoyers to Three-Year Entry-Level Contract
The Utah Mammoth have officially signed forward Caleb Desnoyers to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced on Monday, March 23, 2026. The contract will start with the 2026-2027 NHL season.
Desnoyers, 18, was selected fourth overall by the Mammoth in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. He currently plays for the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
Desnoyers’ Impressive Junior Career
The young center has been a standout player in the QMJHL, registering 218 points (77 goals, 141 assists) in 161 games over the past three seasons. He led the Moncton Wildcats to a QMJHL Championship in 2025, earning the Guy Lafleur playoff MVP award with 30 points in 19 postseason games .
This season, Desnoyers has recorded 78 points (22 goals, 56 assists) in 45 games with Moncton, maintaining a +36 rating. He likewise helped lead Moncton to back-to-back regular season championships .

Born April 11, 2007, in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada, Desnoyers was initially drafted first overall by the Moncton Wildcats in the 2023 QMJHL Draft . He is known for his elite hockey IQ, playmaking abilities, consistent scoring, and promising two-way game .
The signing of Desnoyers means he will be unable to play in the NCAA .
