Starchild Records Celebrates 45th Anniversary with Music Distribution and YouTube Releases
Established in 1981, King Records’ anime and voice actor specialty label, Starchild Records, is commemorating its 45th anniversary in 2026 with a series of initiatives. These include the worldwide distribution of the “Star Mani Series” vocal album collection on various music distribution services starting March 25th, and the release of key anime series from the collection on YouTube for a limited time.
YouTube Premieres and Screening Events
KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE’s YouTube channel will host limited-time releases of the main anime featured in the “Star Mani Series.” The schedule is as follows:
- All-purpose Bunka Nekomusume (OVA version): Available from March 27th at 8:00 PM (JST) to April 27th at 7:59 PM (JST). A premiere screening event will be held on March 27th at 8:00 PM (JST). Watch the trailer here.
- Soreyuke! Space Battleship Yoko Yamamoto: Episodes 1-13 will be available from April 10th at 8:00 PM (JST) to May 10th at 7:59 PM (JST). Episodes 14-26 will be available from April 24th at 8:00 PM (JST) to May 24th at 7:59 PM (JST).
