Austin, Texas is remembering Aidan, a local man hailed as a hero after being stabbed while intervening in an attack on a CapMetro bus on March 13, 2026. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of South Lamar Boulevard, leaving two people injured and sparking an outpouring of support for Aidan from the community.

According to Austin Police, Aidan was stabbed in the right leg and sustained cuts to his hands after pushing suspected attacker Rogerio Martinez, 54, away from another passenger who had already been stabbed multiple times CBS Austin.
