Bodega Announces New Album ‘All Inside Aquarium,’ Set for October Release
The New York-based band Bodega has unveiled its fourth studio album, *All Inside Aquarium*, scheduled for release on October 9 via Chrysalis Records, according to the band’s official announcement. The project follows their 2024 album *Our Brand Could Be Yr Life* and marks a shift toward a more melodic, rock-oriented sound, as described by frontman Ben Hozie.
What’s the Tracklist for ‘All Inside Aquarium’?
The album features 12 tracks, including the lead single “All Inside Aquarium,” which blends “chunky, melodic guitars” with a “90s slacker indie energy,” per the band’s press materials. The full tracklist includes “Weather Me,” “Literary World,” “Astro Night Ride,” and “Slow Train,” among others. A Dinked exclusive vinyl edition will include a 7” single, while a limited Bandcamp release features hand-painted artwork by percussionist Nikki Belfiglio.

How Is Bodega Shifting Its Sound on the New Album?
Hozie described *All Inside Aquarium* as a departure from the “post-punk” label, emphasizing a return to “melodic tunes” and a “proper rock band” aesthetic. The band cited influences such as The Stone Roses and Jane’s Addiction, with Hozie noting a “late-’80s and early-’90s sound.” The album was recorded in the UK with producer Matt Peel at The Nave, a deconsecrated church studio in Leeds, and mixed in Brighton by Theo Verney.
Where Are Bodega’s Upcoming Tour Dates?
Bodega will embark on a series of U.S. and European shows ahead of the album’s release. Key dates include performances at New York’s Central Park SummerStage on July 8, Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Rooftop on August 19, and festivals in Spain, the Netherlands, and the UK. The band will also play London’s 100 Club and Paris’s Pop Up! in November. Tickets are available through the band’s official site and third-party platforms.
What Else Has Bodega Been Up To Lately?
The band released the mini-album *Rot In Helvetica* under the alter-ego name NODEGA in 2025 and shared the track “Myrtle Parade” earlier this year. They also announced a deluxe edition of *Our Brand Could Be Yr Life*, titled *Brand On The Run*, which includes seven previously unreleased tracks and B-sides. The new album follows a period of experimentation, including collaborations and genre-defying projects.
