Explosives Charge and Bail Status for Isobella Perrie Sullivan

According to her defense solicitor, Isobella Perrie Sullivan was asked to transport a bag to Northern Ireland and remained unaware of its contents. While the district court granted her bail on Friday, Perrie Sullivan remained in custody pending a further bail hearing scheduled for Monday.

In a related development at the Special Criminal Court on Friday, Detective Sergeant Shane Noone stated that he arrested a man named O’Donovan at 17:07 local time and informed him of an impending criminal charge. However, defense solicitor Darragh Mackin told the court that he had not taken instructions from O’Donovan because he was observing a professional strike over changes to criminal legal aid fees. Mackin noted he was appearing in court strictly out of courtesy.

Addressing Judge Patrick McGrath, O’Donovan stated that he had no legal representation at all and requested the services of Mackin. Following the brief procedural hearing, the judge remanded O’Donovan in custody until Monday.
