Roan van de Moosdijk enters the weekend holding the championship lead in the premier ADAC MX Masters class.
Van de Moosdijk, representing the KTM Kosak Racing Team from the Netherlands, arrives at the “Auf der Wacht” track as the points leader, according to the ADAC. His primary rival, Max Nagl of Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing, misses the event due to injury, leaving challengers such as Maximilian Spies of Becker Racing, Tom Koch of the KTM Sarholz Racing Team, and newly crowned Open-class European Champion Jere Haavisto of Schmicker Silve Racing to contest the standings, according to ADAC statements. Both Koch and Spies have previously won the event classification in Gaildorf.
International and domestic competition features prominently across the gate. Valentin Guillod of SHR Motorsports by Hartje returns to Europe for a guest start during a break in the American championship calendar, according to the ADAC. Jörgen-Matthias Talviku joins him at SHR Motorsports by Hartje following an elevation to official factory rider status, while Noah Ludwig of the KTM Sarholz Racing Team targets his first event podium of the season. Additional international entrants include Tomas Kohut of the Motoprox MRA Racing Team and Kevin Brumann of MX-Handel Husqvarna Racing, alongside German riders Peter König of KTM GST Berlin Racing, DMX Open leader Max Thunecke of Johannes-Bikes Suzuki, Cato Nickel, Paul Haberland, Mark Scheu, and Toni Hoffmann.
Youth classes supporting the weekend include the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125, and the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, featuring competitors from over 25 nations, according to the ADAC. Nicolai Skovbjerg of the SixtySeven Racing-Team leads the ADAC MX Youngster Cup. Lucas Leok of KTM MX Futures leads the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 following a competition break, while Patriks Cirulis of Schmicker Silve Racing holds the red plate in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85. The ADAC MX Masters and ADAC MX Youngster Cup classes contest three motos each, while the two junior categories run two races apiece, with the first championship points races scheduled for Saturday following the Last Chance qualifiers.
Off the track, the event features a fan mile, an open paddock, and a marquee hosting live music across three evenings, according to the ADAC. The festivities begin Thursday evening with a beer tasting hosted by the Stadtkapelle Gaildorf. The VolXX LIGA performs on Friday starting at 8 p.m., followed by the cover-rock band Shark on Saturday, and DJ One of us on Sunday. A Yamaha quad parcours offers young visitors a chance to test small quads and PW50 motorcycles. An autograph session takes place Sunday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the ADAC MX Masters truck with riders including van de Moosdijk, Koch, Haavisto, Ludwig, and Guillod.

Saturday’s broadcast begins at 3:00 p.m., while Sunday’s coverage splits into two parts starting at 9:50 a.m. and 12:40 p.m., respectively, accompanied by rider interviews.
