Roan van de Moosdijk secured victory in the Saturday race of the fifth round of the ADAC MX Masters at Gaildorf, recovering from a top-five start to win by more than seven seconds. According to race reports from the event on the traditional hard-pack track, the Kosak KTM rider clocked the fastest time in qualifying to take pole position before dominating the opening moto.

Husqvarna rider Kevin Brumann started alongside van de Moosdijk on the front row in second place. When the gate dropped for the holeshot, however, it was Noah Ludwig who grabbed the early lead ahead of Maximilian Spies, Jörgen-Matthias Talviku, and Valentin Guillod. Van de Moosdijk slotted into the chasing pack inside the top five as Ludwig and Spies established an early battle at the front.

Race Dynamics and the Decisive Pass

Ludwig managed to maintain his grip on the lead through the first half of the race while van de Moosdijk systematically worked his way forward. According to the race tracking, the Dutch championship leader caught and passed Spies before setting his sights on Ludwig. Near the race’s midpoint, van de Moosdijk utilized the outside lines of the Gaildorf circuit to slip past Ludwig for the lead.
