fedDSP Launches RAIJU Zero-Latency Saturator Plugin With Free Introductory Period
Audio software developer fedDSP has released RAIJU, a zero-latency saturator plugin for macOS and Windows, available free of charge until August 20, 2026, according to reports by Bedroom Producers Blog. Following the introductory promotional window, which closes at 9 PM UK time on August 20, the plugin will transition to its standard retail price of £30.
RAIJU is built as a flexible mix tool rather than a dedicated guitar overdrive, featuring a compact, pedal-style interface. According to Bedroom Producers Blog, the front panel includes controls for Dist, Tone, Level, and Bark, alongside a toggle switch for Modern and Vintage modes. The Modern mode provides an aggressive response suited for rhythm guitars, while the Vintage mode delivers a fuller sound with added body and grind.
Technical Specifications and Mix Integration
The plugin offers a range of routing and shaping parameters designed for diverse audio sources. According to Band Database, the plugin includes high-pass and low-pass filters that can be placed before or after the pedal stage. Additional features comprise a parallel blend control, polarity flip, delay alignment, and support for stereo or dual-mono operation.
For output management, RAIJU incorporates a final limiter with Safe and Aggro modes to handle peak control. The developer designed the plugin for zero-latency operation and low CPU usage, making it suitable for live tracking and high instance counts within digital audio workstations. Licensing is offline-ready following installation, eliminating the need for an iLok or hardware dongle, with up to three simultaneous activations per license.
Ecosystem Expansion and Compatibility
The release of RAIJU continues a sequence of plugin introductions by fedDSP that began earlier in the year. According to Band Database and Bedroom Producers Blog, the developer previously launched the ELEGANTE overdrive, MORSO, SNAPPER, the frequency-focused SHI saturator, and the fedZEP amp plugin.

RAIJU is available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats for macOS, supporting versions 10.13 or higher on both Intel and Apple Silicon processors. For Windows users, the plugin is offered in VST3 and AAX formats with compatibility for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11 systems.
