American Express is rolling out an extensive slate of cardmember benefits, exclusive lounges, and on-site activations for the US Open tennis championship, running from August 23 through September 13, according to an official company announcement. The multi-week engagement marks another milestone in a partnership spanning more than three decades.
US Open Fan Experience and Interactive Zones
During Fan Week, American Express will operate the US Open American Express Fan Experience on-site. According to the company’s press release, the interactive zone features digital tennis games and a complimentary mobile phone accessory station. Cardmembers who visit the station can pick up additional exclusive charms.
To assist with transit logistics, American Express will provide complimentary single-ride subway or bus passes to cardmembers on a first-come, first-served basis during specific tournament hours. Furthermore, the company is deploying tennis-themed advertising across New York City train cars and station platforms to mark the tournament.
Cardmember Lounges and Centurion Access
The American Express Card Member Lounge is an exclusive space for cardmembers and up to two guests, offering exclusive product designs and a postcard station. According to American Express, Platinum Card and Centurion members can access massage chairs equipped with live match broadcasts.
For premium cardholders, the Centurion Lounge delivers food and beverage menus curated by chefs Kwame Onwuachi and Michael Solomonov. Daily one-hour reservations open beginning August 30 via the Resy platform for slots running through September 13. Platinum Card members may book entry for themselves and one guest, while Centurion members can reserve spots for themselves and up to three guests.
On-Site Perks and Purchase Offers
Cardmembers can collect complimentary radios at five designated American Express-branded locations across the grounds. Additionally, eligible cardmembers spending $100 or more in qualifying on-site purchases can register for a $10 statement credit offer starting August 30, per company terms.
