Atlas Ocean Voyages announced on May 11, 2026, according to corporate announcements, the inaugural 2028-2029 deployment of its newest luxury expedition yacht, Atlas Adventurer, marking the brand’s expansion into Asia and Africa, regions never before featured in the Atlas destination portfolio. The upcoming season features a collection of 16 distinct voyages beginning November 6, 2028, in Kobe, Japan, and concluding in late spring 2029 in Athens, Greece, as detailed by PRNewswire.

Inaugural Season Itinerary Across Asia and Africa

According to Atlas Ocean Voyages, the deployment introduces travelers to new ports across Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, and Eastern and Southern Africa. The Atlas Adventurer schedule starts with a 12-night “Far East Mystique” roundtrip from Kobe on November 6, 2028, followed by regional explorations including “Shinto Shores & Samurai Legacies” and “Dynasties & Rising Suns” heading toward Hong Kong.

As the route progresses southward through December 2028 and into early 2029, itineraries feature stops in Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore. Specific voyages listed in the official schedule include:

  • Dec 10, 2028: South China Sojourn (13 nights, Hong Kong to Bangkok)
  • Dec 23, 2028: Holiday Expedition: Jewels of Southeast Asia (14 nights, Bangkok to Bali)
  • Jan 6, 2029: Island Treasures (13 nights, Bali to Manila)
  • Jan 19, 2029: The Coral Triangle (13 nights, Manila to Singapore)

Following Southeast Asia, the yacht transitions into the Indian Ocean and African waters, with itineraries such as the 15-night “Isles of Spice & Sapphire Seas” from Phuket to Mahé starting February 27, 2029. Subsequent sailings include the “Swahili Coast” route from Mombasa to Cape Town and a 21-night finale titled “Sultans, Pharaohs & Empires,” sailing from Mahé to Athens on May 1, 2029, according to company schedules.
