KT has launched four new mobile rate plans integrating Google’s generative artificial intelligence technology, according to an announcement by the telecommunications company on August 11, 2026. The move aims to embed AI tools into everyday telecommunications services without requiring separate subscription processes for users.

New KT Choice Rate Plans Featuring Google AI

According to KT, the newly introduced lineup consists of four distinct options: Choice 90 Google AI Plus, Choice 110 Google AI Plus, Choice 130 Google AI Plus, and Choice Double YouTube Premium + Google AI Plus. Subscribers to these tiers gain immediate access to Google’s Gemini for tasks such as document drafting, search operations, translation, and learning activities. The packages also include a baseline allocation of 400GB of cloud storage, with family-sharing capabilities that allow up to five household members to utilize the space.

Storage Tiers and Video Streaming Options

Users who require storage capacity beyond the base 400GB offering can upgrade their plans through tiered add-ons, as stated by KT. For media-heavy consumers, the company structured the “Choice Double YouTube Premium + Google AI Plus” tier to bundle completely unlimited data usage alongside YouTube Premium Lite and the standard 400GB cloud AI package.

Strategic Push Toward AI Integration

The product rollout is designed to accelerate what the carrier terms the “routine integration of AI” into everyday consumer life. “As generative AI rapidly establishes itself across both professional and daily routines, we designed these products so that any customer can experience AI easily and conveniently,” said Kim Young-geol, head of KT’s Customer Business Division, through official statements. The company confirmed plans to continue expanding telecom-AI hybrid offerings moving forward.
