Agroterrum nearly doubled its regional warehouse network across Argentina over the past year and a half, according to marketing manager Juan Manuel Fernández. Speaking at the 34th Aapresid Congress and reported by AIRE Agro, Fernández explained that the expansion addresses a structural shift in how agricultural producers and distributors manage inventory in an unstable macroeconomic environment.

Logistical Expansion and Regional Supply Chains

Producers and distributors maintain significantly leaner stockpiles than they did five years ago, according to Agroterrum. The firm currently operates a global manufacturing network spanning four factories in China out of ten worldwide facilities, feeding a regional distribution system tailored to local crop demands.

Fernández noted that regional teams gather localized feedback from field conditions and relay specific agronomic needs back to international manufacturing hubs for product formulation and testing.

Portfolios Tailored for Major Row Crops

Agroterrum entered the Argentine market in 2023, building a portfolio that now reaches 55 commercial products focused on key staples including soybeans, corn, wheat, and sunflowers. Herbicides comprise roughly 70% of the catalog, supplemented by specialized fungicides and insecticides designed to manage crop health from pre-planting burndown through harvest.

For the current production cycle, the company introduced active ingredient solutions based on isoxaflutole and saflufenacil. Rather than relying solely on generic branding within a crowded commodities market, Agroterrum anchors its marketing strategy around proprietary product labelling, such as Saflufenacil Agroterrum and Glifo 75.7 Agroterrum, to build direct brand recognition among agronomists and growers.

Strategic Integration of Agronomic Support

Company leadership emphasizes that modern crop protection requires integrated technical guidance alongside chemical application.

The firm plans to maintain ongoing investments in its product pipeline and local distribution networks.
