Fudd enters the All-Star 3-point shootout as the lone rookie in the field, according to Yahoo Sports. She will face a lineup of league shooters that includes Portland’s Bridget Carleton, Seattle’s Natisha Hiedeman, Atlanta’s Rhyne Howard, Toronto’s Marina Mabrey, and Golden State’s Janelle Salaun, per Yahoo Sports.
Heading into the All-Star break, Fudd ranks 10th overall in the WNBA and first among rookies with 50 made 3-pointers this season, according to Yahoo Sports. Her shooting prowess was on full display on May 24, when she set the Dallas Wings’ rookie single-game record by sinking six triples against the New York Liberty in Brooklyn, as reported by Yahoo Sports.

Format and Rules for the WNBA 3-Point Competition
The competition takes place on Friday at 8 p.m. on ESPN, featuring a two-round, timed format utilizing ball racks, according to Yahoo Sports. Four racks hold four official WNBA game balls worth one point each alongside one “money” ball worth two points, while the fifth rack consists entirely of five “money” balls that competitors can choose which rack along the perimeter is the “all money ball” rack, per Yahoo Sports.
The league has introduced “From the Logo” shots for this year’s event, featuring two balls positioned on pedestals at deep-shot locations worth three points each, according to Yahoo Sports. The WNBA will donate to The Girls Who Code Inc. for every made deep shot during the competition, per Yahoo Sports.
