The upcoming Global Youth Sevens, scheduled for December 19-21 in Auckland, is considered the pinnacle of under-18 sevens rugby by tournament organizers. Past participants who used the tournament as a springboard to international stardom include Black Ferns Sevens standout Jorja Miller, HSBC SVNS Series try-scoring leader Maddison Levi, and former All Blacks backrower Hoskins Sotutu, as reported by RugbyPass.

The USA Men’s and Women’s development pathways operate under a structured technical staff.
