Larry and Julien Lundgren are driving a rare Ferrari Enzo across the United States from Boston to Los Angeles to raise funds and awareness for the Cam Neely Foundation, according to Auto Plus. The cross-country road trip spans more than 5,100 kilometers and requires over 55 hours of driving, transforming a collector’s hypercar into a mobile fundraiser before it joins the Rally To Monterey Car Week 2026.
The Cross-Country Route and the Ferrari Enzo
The journey began in Boston when Larry and Julien Lundgren took the wheel of the V12 hypercar provided by their father, Barry Lundgren, according to Auto Plus. The vehicle is far from a static museum piece; it already had approximately 36,000 miles (about 58,000 kilometers) on the odometer before embarking on the transcontinental drive. According to Auto Plus, the car previously appeared at the FAT Ice Race in Big Sky, Montana, equipped with a roof-mounted ski rack and snow tires.
Before setting off on the highway toward the Midwest, the car underwent a cosmetic transformation at Addictive Autosport in Walpole, Massachusetts. Technicians spent 32 hours applying a metallic silver wrap over the traditional red paint, creating a neutral surface designed to collect signatures from people they meet along the route, as reported by Auto Plus.
Supporting the Cam Neely Foundation
Every stop along the route serves as an opportunity to direct public attention toward an online fundraising campaign hosted on GoFundMe, benefiting the Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care, according to Auto Plus. Established in Boston in 1995 by Cam Neely following his parents’ cancer diagnoses, the foundation finances patient care programs primarily at the Tufts Medical Center, as noted by Auto Plus.

Funds raised by the foundation support initiatives like the Neely House, a guest lodging facility that allows patients and their families to stay together near the hospital during treatment without incurring hotel room expenses. According to Auto Plus, the organization has historically raised more than 34 million dollars, enabling more than 36,000 nights of lodging for families navigating cancer treatments. At the halfway point of the current road trip, online donations for the drive had already surpassed 14,000 dollars, with the digital fundraising page remaining active as the vehicle approaches the West Coast.
Destination Monterey Car Week
Upon completing the trek across the Midwest and reaching Southern California, the Ferrari Enzo is scheduled to participate in the Rally To Monterey Car Week 2026 organized by the Luxury Rally Club, according to Auto Plus. Throughout the trip, the drivers document their progress and community interactions on the Instagram account @sharetheenzo, connecting the vehicle’s rare status with direct charitable contributions.
