Lavrov Alleges Direct American Role in Strikes
Speaking to state television, Lavrov stated that Russia is awaiting a response from Washington concerning the extent of American military assistance. No immediate comment was available from the U.S. side regarding the diplomatic inquiry.
“We have submitted a series of questions to the State Department requesting comment, including on the matter of intelligence data and the fact that the U.S. is far more deeply involved in organizing and executing strikes deep within Russian territory against civilian targets,” Lavrov said, as reported by straitstimes.com.

The diplomatic friction unfolds against the backdrop of a prolonged conflict that entered its fifth year. Ukrainian forces continue to receive military supplies from Western allies, though shortages persist in critical areas like interceptors designed to defend against Russian missile barrages.
In response to what Moscow characterizes as escalating Western provocation, Lavrov warned that Russia would intensify its efforts to dismantle supply lines. “We will make our methods much tougher in order to dismantle everything that fuels Kyiv’s war machine from the West. And we are already doing this,” Lavrov stated.
