According to the Idaho Transportation Department, traffic will shift from north of the 2 ½ Mile Road Bridge down to the Chubbuck Road Bridge. To facilitate this transition, intermittent nighttime lane closures will take place on I-15 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday nights.
Specific ramp closures will impact the Northgate Interchange, designated as Exit 73, during the operations. Southbound ramps at Exit 73 will close from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday evening. Drivers utilizing the southbound off-ramp must detour to the Chubbuck Interchange at Exit 61, while southbound on-ramp users will need to route through the Chubbuck and Pocatello Creek Road interchanges at Exits 61 and 71, according to transportation officials.
