Surge in Drone Attacks Targets Kherson Transportation
Kherson regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin reports that drone activity in the region surged from a previous average of roughly 400 daily incidents to approximately 1,000 drones on a single day. Weekly totals climbed from a historical average of about 2,500 drones to 5,500, pushing the six-month total past 100,000 encounters. Vadim Melnyk, director of public transport in Kherson, states that Russian forces have targeted more than 100 buses and trams since the beginning of the year, injuring six drivers.
