The 2025 Menopause and Menstruation Friendly Employer Awards have officially revealed their finalists, highlighting a record number of entries from both large and small public and private sector organizations, according to announcements from Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace. Now in its fourth year, the industry-recognized program honors organizations and individuals demonstrating commitment to normalising workplace conversations and providing resources around women’s health.
New Format and Simultaneous Regional Ceremonies for 2025
According to organizers, the 2025 awards feature a new daytime format incorporating inspirational speakers, practical panels, and community networking sessions. In a unique operational shift, three regional events scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, 2025, will simultaneously announce the winners in Nottingham, London, and Liverpool. An independent panel of judges evaluated submissions based on how well organizations and individuals implemented support, solutions, and resources to normalize menopause and menstruation in the workplace. Deborah Garlick, CEO of Menopause Friendly by Henpicked, stated according to official announcements that this year’s awards saw more entries than ever alongside an outstanding quality of work.
Fundraising Milestones and Major Industry Supporters
The awards initiative serves a dual purpose by raising vital funds for menopause and menstruation-related charities, programs, and research. According to event organizers, the program has raised £190,000 since its inception and is currently on track to reach £230,000 with the support of sponsors. Headline sponsor Peppy is joined by Boots, No7 Beauty Company, British Airways, Mars, QVC, Standard Chartered, and Menopace by Vitabiotics. Additional institutional backing comes from the British Standards Institution (BSI), CIPD, the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM), and The Gym Group.

The 2025 finalists span multiple competitive categories designed to evaluate distinct areas of workplace wellbeing:
- For menstruation-friendly open culture, finalists feature Lloyds Banking Group and The Huddersfield Town Association Football Club Limited.
- Best Trained Workforce: Finalists feature Amex GBT, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service, Havens Hospices, Leicestershire County Council, Manchester City Council, and Young Epilepsy and St Piers.
- Best Peer-to-Peer Support: Finalists include the Alzheimer’s Society, Battersea, Experian, London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, Northumbria Police, Santander, Southeastern Railway, and Young Epilepsy and St Piers.
