Witness Details Alleged Encounters on the Stand

During the court proceedings, a female witness detailed a series of alleged interactions with Dott. According to the BBC, the complainant testified that Dott touched her over her clothes during an encounter that lasted a couple of minutes.

Prosecutor Lindsey Dalziel questioned the witness regarding statements allegedly made during the incident. The witness told the court she remembered the interaction felt odd and recalled Dott asking, “does that feel nice” or something similar, though she noted she could not recall the exact phrasing.

Accusations Involve Guessing Game at Residence

The witness further alleged that another incident occurred after Dott asked if she wanted to play a guessing game at a residence. According to the testimony reported by the BBC, Dott suggested she take her trousers down, lifted her top, and started kissing her belly. The witness also accused him of inappropriate touching and stated that the alleged abuse happened several times.

Silence Followed by Police Contact Decades Later

When questioned by prosecutor Lindsey Dalziel about whether she informed anyone at the time, the witness stated she did not, explaining that Graeme told her not to.

According to the BBC report, the woman testified that she first confided in a friend a few years later without sharing full details, and later spoke to a teacher before meeting with police in January 2001.

Ongoing Trial Before Judge Lord Harrower

The court heard that police officers arrived at the witness’s home in 2024. When Dalziel asked if she had instigated the police visit, the witness replied that she had not and was in complete shock. The trial before Judge Lord Harrower continues as legal arguments and evidence presentations proceed.
