Senstar Technologies (SNT) Q2 2026 Earnings: Revenue Up 8%, LiDAR Sales Double

Senstar Technologies Corp. reported second-quarter 2026 financial results showing $10.4 million in revenue, representing an 8% increase year-over-year according to earnings disclosures released on August 25, 2026. The performance included a return to profitability and a sharp expansion in LiDAR product sales, even as integration expenses and project delays in the United States weighed on overall margins and net income.

Financial Performance and Profitability in Q2 2026

According to financial filings and conference call transcripts, Senstar posted a net income of $351,000, or $0.02 per share, for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. This compares to a net income of $1.2 million, or $0.05 per share, reported in the same period of 2025. Gross margin for the quarter stood at 64.2%, down from 66.1% in the year-ago quarter, a shift management attributed to product mix. Operating income fell to $343,000 from $1 million in the second quarter of 2025, while EBITDA dropped to $551,000 from $1.1 million. Operating expenses rose 18% year-over-year to $6.4 million, driven largely by $1.2 million in acquisition-related costs tied to Blickfeld. Cash and cash equivalents stood at $8 million as of June 30, 2026, down from $22.5 million at the close of 2025, primarily due to the cash-funded acquisition.

Regional Revenue Dynamics and LiDAR Sales Growth

Global sales growth was heavily supported by a near-doubling of LiDAR solutions, which accounted for 20% of total revenue in the second quarter. Regionally, results varied widely. APAC emerged as the fastest-growing market, with revenue surging 93% year-over-year, driven by demand across utilities, data centers, corrections, and airports. EMEA revenue grew 14% year-over-year, supported by utilities, data centers, airports, and energy sectors. Conversely, North American revenue declined 12%, with U.S. sales dropping 14% year-over-year and 17% year-to-date. CEO Fabien Haubert stated during the earnings call that the U.S. downturn stemmed from project delays in the corrections vertical caused by the federal government shutdown. Management noted that Blickfeld reported positive EBITDA during the quarter, signaling early operational synergies.

Outlook and Market Strategy

Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, Fabien Haubert expressed confidence that the U.S. corrections business will resume normal activity, pointing to early signs of recovery. The company also onboarded a new Vice President of Sales for the USA and Latin America to accelerate development in utilities and data centers. Furthermore, Senstar plans to roll out new product innovations, including an embedded fiber detection system, designed to expand its footprint across core vertical markets.
