Marmoush scored 16 goals in 62 appearances in all competitions for Manchester City following his move from Frankfurt. During the 2025–26 season, he scored eight goals in 36 appearances. However, his Premier League involvement fell considerably as he started only eight league games and played around 700 minutes, which was fewer than he managed after joining midway through the prior campaign.
His league return for the season stood at three goals and three assists, with a 3.53 expected goals figure that closely matched his actual scoring output, indicating that finishing was not the primary issue. Marmoush faced competition for minutes in a side built around Haaland, while Manchester City continued to strengthen their attacking options.

While Marmoush is primarily a number nine, he has rarely been confined to one role across the front line. At Frankfurt, he was used predominantly through the middle while also appearing as a second striker and from the left.
