Translucent Green Xbox Series X25 Pricing and Design
The upcoming special edition console is designated as the Xbox Series X25. It carries a recommended retail price of €899.
Official Microsoft statements confirm the bundle includes a translucent green chassis with visible internal components, a matching controller, and a digital copy of Halo: Campaign Evolved.
That pricing sits €100 above the standard black base model. Look closely at the transparent green outer shell, and you will spot laser-etched serial numbering alongside a commemorative logo marking the 25th anniversary of the Xbox brand.
Standalone 25th Anniversary Controller
Alongside the console bundle, Microsoft confirmed the launch of a standalone Xbox Series 25th Anniversary Edition controller.
Set to release on the same date as the console, the peripheral will cost €79.99.
The controller mirrors the console’s aesthetic with a translucent green finish and an anniversary logo. Product specifications released by Microsoft show that the reverse side of the gamepad features an enlarged ‘X’ design paying homage to the original 2001 hardware layout.
A Nod to 2001 and the Halo Legacy
The release date for the Xbox Series X25 is scheduled for November 13.
This timing places the launch two days ahead of the 25th anniversary of the original Xbox debut, which took place on November 15, 2001.
