David Mora stated that the production features realistic new sets, highlighting the American balcony with red brick detailing and views of the Dallas skyline. This setting gives the cast a new environment to navigate.
Targeting Firearms, Healthcare, and the American Dream
The move gives the writers an opportunity to play with common American cultural tropes and societal features.
According to the actors, the storylines touch on aspects such as firearms, the healthcare system, and the litigious nature of American society. Blateau noted that although Emma initially held a very positive view of the United States, she eventually realizes that working there is more complicated than anticipated. Conversely, Fabien discovers a sense of personal liberty where everything feels possible.
