State-owned enterprise Latvijas Pasts has re-listed three properties across Latvia for public electronic auction, with starting prices beginning at 7,000 euros, according to official announcements published in Latvijas Vēstnesis. The sales encompass regional facilities in Gulbene, Saldus, and Keipene, as the national postal operator looks to divest surplus real estate holdings.
Gulbene Property Auction Details
According to announcements published in the official publication Latvijas Vēstnesis, the largest property up for auction is located on Rigas Street in Gulbene. The site includes eight buildings with a total area of 1,256 square meters sitting on a 2,167-square-meter land plot. Latvijas Pasts has set the starting price at 162,000 euros, with a required bidding increment of 1,600 euros.
Saldus and Keipene Real Estate Listings
This location consists of two buildings totaling 566.9 square meters, a fractional share of an additional building measuring 147.6 square meters, and a 5,047-square-meter land plot. The initial price for the Saldus real estate is established at 133,800 euros, featuring a bidding increment of 1,350 euros.

The lowest-priced offering sits in Keipene. Marketed under the name “Krustini,” this property carries a starting price of just 7,000 euros and a bidding increment of 100 euros, according to official auction documents. The package includes shares in the development alongside the underlying land plot.
Auction Timelines and Corporate Financial Context
Interested parties must submit their applications to participate in all three electronic auctions until September 15.
The asset sales follow a fiscal year in which Latvijas Pasts reported a turnover of 82.706 million euros, representing an 11.8% decrease compared to 2024 figures. Despite the drop in revenue, the company closed out the year with a profit of 2.995 million euros, bouncing back from a loss-making performance the previous year. Latvijas Pasts operates as a state-owned enterprise employing roughly 1,500 people, delivering domestic and international postal services, parcel forwarding, press delivery, and logistics solutions across Latvia.
