The event marked the formal return to classrooms for students across the region, accompanied by the distribution of school supplies and infrastructure commitments from state leadership.
School Year Launch and Student Support
During the ceremony, Governor Campos addressed students and faculty by encouraging children to maintain ambition in their academic pursuits, according to local reports. “Do not stop having hope, do not stop dreaming, because big dreams are what change the lives of people and families,” Campos stated, referencing the life of Dr. Pedro Leal, the namesake of the hosting institution.
State officials paired the school year kickoff with material assistance for families. Additionally, the administration provided an adapted desk chair to a student with a disability.
Institutional Remarks and Leadership Attendance
Speaking on behalf of the student body, student Carolina Acosta Vázquez thanked the governor for providing the tools necessary for students to pursue their education.
The inauguration drew numerous regional and educational leaders. According to official coverage, attendees included Chihuahua Mayor Marco Bonilla Mendoza, Subsecretary of Upper Secondary Education Guillermo Márquez, and Ulises García Soto, head of the Education Liaison Office of the Secretariat of Public Education.
