Marriott Bonvoy has launched 37 player-curated city guides for the NFL season, expanding its league partnership to help traveling fans explore international and domestic destinations beyond the stadium, according to corporate announcements.
Inside the Athlete-Designed Itineraries
The travel program covers every U.S. and international city hosting an NFL game. It features insider recommendations from current and former players such as Cooper Kupp, Jordan Mailata, Fred Warner, Jerry Rice, and Todd Gurley.
According to Marriott International Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer Peggy Roe, the initiative connects supporters with host destinations through the firsthand perspectives of the athletes themselves.
Global Expansion Across Overseas Markets
The initiative places significant focus on the NFL’s growing international schedule. It provides localized itineraries for overseas host cities including Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico City, London, Paris, and Madrid.

This allows loyalty members to redeem points or book tailored packages in markets outside the traditional U.S. footprint.
Star Power Mapped to Key Cities
The initial rollout features specific player mappings:
- Seattle: Curated by Cooper Kupp
- Philadelphia: Curated by Jordan Mailata
- Mexico City: Curated by Jerry Rice
- Rio de Janeiro: Curated by Mark Ingram II
- Melbourne: Curated by Todd Gurley
Additional guides featuring San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner and Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton will roll out later in the season. Each guide was designed by social media artist Jeff Cole, highlighting local dining favorites, hidden gems, and neighborhood traditions tied to each athlete’s tenure in their respective football markets.
The Super Bowl Sleepover Suite Sweepstakes
To support the launch, Marriott Bonvoy introduced a season-long marketing campaign titled "Long-Distance NFL Relationships," which acknowledges fans who travel long distances to follow their preferred teams.
The hospitality brand is also bringing back its high-profile "Super Bowl Sleepover Suite" sweepstakes. According to promotional terms, one winner will receive an overnight stay in a luxury hotel suite constructed inside SoFi Stadium on the eve of the championship game in February 2027. Fans can also access custom travel packages combining hotel stays, match tickets, and local tours through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform throughout the football schedule.
