Born in Barcelona on September 7, 1969, Garrido trained at the Institut del Teatre and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). According to reporting by Telecinco, his professional stage debut came in 1990 with the play Alfons Quart.
Television work quickly followed in the 1996 TV3 series Estació d’enllaç. His film debut arrived in 1999’s La ciudad de los prodigios.
Over the decades, Garrido built a reputation as a supporting and leading actor. He appeared in more than 30 films.
His cinematic credits include roles in Mar adentro, Te doy mis ojos, and Smoking Room. The latter earned him a Silver Biznaga at the Málaga Film Festival alongside directors Roger Gual and Julio D.
