Oregon Athletics Announces Four-Year Partnership With Edward Jones

The Oregon Ducks are expanding their corporate sponsorship profile ahead of the 2026 college football season through a four-year agreement with Edward Jones, according to Ducks Wire. Announced on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, the arrangement makes Edward Jones a title sponsor for Oregon’s season-opening matchup against Boise State on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026.

Financial Structure and Multi-School Agreement

Edward Jones is paying Learfield Sports nearly $34 million in total sponsorship fees across the four-year deal, according to Ducks Wire. The overarching agreement also includes Duke and North Carolina, with all participating schools receiving financial compensation for the endorsement. The contract includes an option for a potential extension in 2030, though the University of Oregon did not disclose its specific financial share from the package.

Athletic Department Integration and Campus Impact

The partnership extends beyond the football program to cover men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, and track and field. According to Ducks Wire, the agreement centers heavily on financial literacy programming designed to benefit student-athletes.

“Edward Jones is a first-class organization and an industry leader, and this is a truly integrated partnership with a company that understands the importance of education and has made a significant investment in Oregon Athletics and Duck student-athletes,” Oregon athletic director Rob Mullens said in a press release cited by Ducks Wire. “Robust financial literacy programming is at the center of this partnership, and it will benefit UO student-athletes and our sport programs for years to come.”

Game Day Activations for the Boise State Matchup

Fans attending the season opener will encounter several visible changes tied to the new sponsor. The firm’s logo will appear on each 25-yard line, alongside increased marketing exposure on videoboards and field-level LED strips. Spectators at the Boise State game will receive rally towels, and the venue will feature pregame and halftime announcements recognizing the firm.

Beyond the stadium seating bowl, Edward Jones has secured season-long visibility across football and basketball broadcasts, as well as digital platforms. The firm plans to launch a branded social media video series throughout the year, according to Ducks Wire. Additional activation details for men’s and women’s basketball games will be released later in the season.

Broader Corporate Sponsorship Trends in College Athletics

The Edward Jones agreement marks the second major corporate partnership integrated into Oregon’s game day presentation for the fall 2026 sports calendar. Progressive also partnered with 13 athletic programs nationwide, including Oregon, to introduce on-field logos and advertisements for the fall season, according to Ducks Wire.
