Hisense unveiled its latest lineup of display technologies, laser projectors, and audio hardware at IFA 2026 in Berlin, anchored by the theme “Innovating a Brighter Life.” According to company announcements released on September 5, 2026, the global electronics manufacturer showcased its advanced home entertainment experience, featuring next-generation RGB MiniLED panels and a world-first LCD architecture.
During the Berlin trade show, several Hisense products received recognition at the IFA Innovation Awards. The Hisense UX1 soundbar earned a Winner designation, while the 116UXS MiniLED television, the UR8 television, the REGZA RGB Mini LED ZX series, and the XR10 laser projector were named Honorees, as reported by Hisense.
Next-Generation RGB MiniLED and the 116UXS Debut
Making its European debut at the exhibition, the Hisense 116UXS television introduces a quad-color backlight system powered by Chromagic 2.0 technology. According to company specifications, the setup adds a dedicated cyan light source alongside traditional red, green, and blue LEDs to reach 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut. The 116UXS secured Pantone Validated RGB MiniLED and Pantone Color certifications, alongside a peak brightness rating of 10,000 nits driven by the Hi-View AI Engine RGB and Obsidian Panel.
Hardware-level eye comfort formed a major focus for the 2026 lineup. TÜV Rheinland awarded the 116UXS its Low Blue Light hardware solution certification. Furthermore, the broader 2026 RGB MiniLED lineup—including the UR9S and UR8S models—earned TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, expanding vision protection features across standard commercial tiers rather than restricting them to flagship models.
During a joint event at IFA 2026, Henk Pieters, senior vice president of global sales, marketing, and communications for TÜV Rheinland’s Business Stream Products division, joined Sonny Ming, general manager of TV product marketing at the Hisense Global Commercial Center, to mark the certifications. Sonny Ming stated that the TÜV Rheinland validation objectively confirms that Hisense RGB MiniLED televisions deliver an enhanced viewing experience.
Field Sequential Display and Laser Innovations
Beyond standard LED advancements, Hisense introduced Field Sequential Display (FSD) technology at IFA 2026. Described as a world-first architecture for LCD panels, FSD eliminates traditional color filters by displaying red, green, and blue image components sequentially in the temporal domain. According to company data, this design yields significantly higher brightness, purer color output, improved energy efficiency, and refresh rates reaching up to 360 Hz compared to conventional LCD screens.
The company also extended its vision safety certifications to its projection portfolio. The XR10 laser projector, Laser Cinema PX4 Pro, and Laser TV L9Q Pro each received TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, alongside expanded options in the C3 series.
Immersive Audio Additions
Complementing its visual hardware, Hisense exhibited new audio solutions designed for home integration. The award-winning UX1 soundbar features an 11.2.6-channel layout, Dolby Atmos and DTS support, and Hi-Concerto synchronization with compatible Hisense televisions. For personal listening, the brand introduced HiClips, an open-ear true wireless earbud model weighing 5.5 grams per unit with a flexible ear-loop design.
