Meet Aras: The 11-Year-Old Viral Street Interviewer Joining Supergaande

At just 11 years old, internet personality Aras captivated audiences with independent street interviews that flooded social media feeds a year ago. Today, that solo hustle has evolved into a professional media career. Aras has officially joined the digital content team at the Dutch YouTube channel Supergaande.

From Street Interviews to a Studio Crew

The young creator now crafts professional social media content for the platform. He works side-by-side with channel founders Qucee and Nesim El Ahmadi, all while navigating the demanding transition into secondary school.

Stepping Into the Supergaande Ecosystem

The partnership began when Supergaande reached out to the burgeoning creator, inviting him to participate in recordings for their project Knockout Champs. Following that initial collaboration, the network brought him on permanently to handle street interviews for their official social media channels.

The operational scale marks a sharp departure from his early days of independent production. Aras still writes his own questions, but Nesim El Ahmadi now reviews the material beforehand for quality control. Gone are the days of filming exclusively on a smartphone. Aras now operates alongside a full production crew utilizing large studio cameras, complete with a crew member stationed near the lens to prompt him with questions if he loses his train of thought mid-shoot.

Juggling Media Production and Secondary School

A growing public profile brings strict scheduling demands. With his recent transition to secondary school, Aras is no longer available during consistent weekday hours.

To protect his education, management and the young creator hammered out a firm agreement. Filming sessions are now restricted primarily to weekends and school holidays. Aras stated publicly that maintaining his education remains his top priority regardless of his growing online career.

The Supergaande Brand and NPO Start Presence

Supergaande stands as a prominent Dutch digital media duo established by Qucee and Nesim El Ahmadi. The brand initially built its formidable reputation on popular YouTube segments featuring candid street interviews with the public.

Beyond their digital output on YouTube, the duo produces Knockout Champs on NPO Start. The program features Dutch public figures competing in comedic challenges specifically designed to provoke laughter without breaking composure.
