B2B sports betting supplier Betby has announced the launch of BETBY SlotBets, a new product that converts live sports action into a fast-paced, slot-style betting experience. According to official company announcements, the release introduces a brand-new iGaming content category called SlotBets Games, designed to bridge the historic gap between sportsbook audiences and casino players through a format the company terms “slotbetting.”

How SlotBasketball Powers 15-Second Betting Rounds

BETBY SlotBets operates on 15-second betting rounds tied directly to real-time events unfolding during a live sports match, combining sports betting immediacy with familiar casino mechanics like reels, winning combinations, and multipliers. According to Betby, basketball serves as the initial sport for the product via SlotBasketball, selected for its high pace and continuous flow of events. In SlotBasketball, each 15-second round divides into three five-second windows corresponding to three individual reels. Each reel records the highest-value event occurring during its specific window. Results include a three-pointer, a two-pointer, a missed shot, a foul, or a scoreless period of inactivity. After 15 seconds elapse, the three reels form a combination, generating payouts based on the game’s paytable if results match. Additional mechanics like a “Pause Bonus” allow valid match interruptions to contribute toward bonus multipliers, while the underlying game outcome remains driven entirely by the live sports action. Unlike RNG-based casino products that merely use sports themes, Kirill Nekrasov, director of innovation and R&D at Betby, explained that the match itself acts as the game engine. “SlotBets started with a very simple question: why should a casino player become a sports betting expert before they can enjoy betting on sports?” Nekrasov stated. “We wanted to create something immediately understandable, but that still actually remains driven by the live event.”
