The documentation provided by Palao includes a payment voucher for August 2026 showing a base amount of S/ 30 mil plus the General Sales Tax, totaling S/ 35,400. The invoice is registered under the production company Producciones PropTV SAC and details his work on the competition show.
In addition to the television earnings, Palao submitted bank transfers, invoices, payment receipts, and documents related to the Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria (Sunat). Palao stated that he released the records because he considered online criticism regarding his economic status to be inaccurate and defamatory.
Japan Trip and Birthday Gift Scrutiny
Public scrutiny intensified following a trip to Japan that Palao took with Baigorria and her brother Sergio Baigorria to celebrate Baigorria’s 38th birthday. Social media users questioned the origin of the funds used to purchase a Dior handbag gifted to Baigorria during the trip, with some commentators alleging online that Baigorria financed the travel expenses herself.
To counter these claims, Palao shared flight and hotel documentation with “Amor y Fuego.” The records show a flight payment of USD 2.235 covering a route from Madrid, Spain, through Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to Narita, Japan, alongside a hotel reservation confirmed and paid under his name.
