The luxury property was originally listed by estate agency Jackson-Stops in February 2023 for £5.5 million, or about $7.4 million at the time, before weathering successive price cuts.

Inside the Cheshire Estate and Its Luxury Amenities

The main mansion spans seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, featuring private dressing areas and walk-in wardrobe space within the primary bedroom suite alongside en-suite facilities for the remaining rooms.

The estate’s leisure infrastructure includes an indoor heated swimming pool, a professional gym, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a private cinema room, and a wine cellar. Outdoors, the 23-acre grounds host a full-sized tennis court, a padel court, and a separate two-bedroom guest barn designed to accommodate visitors, staff, or security personnel.

Why Ronaldo Vacated and Listed the Property

However, the family quickly relocated to another property in the area previously owned by former Manchester United striker Andrew Cole, a home equipped with stronger security features such as electric gates and CCTV.

Media reports at the time pointed to privacy concerns—specifically a public footpath running close to the perimeter—as well as early-morning noise from neighboring sheep on the surrounding farmland, though those explanations remain unconfirmed by the player’s camp. Following the termination of Ronaldo’s contract by mutual consent in November 2022 and his subsequent transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, maintaining a sprawling 23-acre estate in Cheshire became impractical, prompting the February 2023 sale listing.
