According to entertainment reporting, the platform is rolling out major titles weekly, starting with Gal Gadot in the psychological thriller The Runner on September 2.

Prime Video Film Premieres for September 2026

The film slate begins on September 2 with The Runner, starring Gal Gadot as Maia Marten, a London corporate lawyer whose morning run is interrupted by a phone call informing her that her son has been kidnapped. According to production details, the narrative forces her to navigate London while obeying strict instructions to keep moving or risk her son’s life.

On September 9, Prime Video releases Marfil, an adaptation of the novel by Mercedes Ron. The plot centers on the daughter of a Spanish magnate who is abducted in New York and later assigned an enigmatic bodyguard named Sebastian Moore as threats escalate in Spain.

Survival thriller Non senza speranza debuts on September 11, directed by Joe Carnahan and starring Zachary Levi, Josh Duhamel, and Quentin Plair. Based on a real-world February 2009 incident in the Gulf of Mexico, the film follows four friends—including former NFL players Marquis Cooper and Corey Smith—who are thrown overboard 70 miles off the Florida coast during a severe storm.

Science fiction arrives on September 21 with Signal One, directed by Jonathan Sobol and starring Isabelle Fuhrman, Dennis Quaid, and Josh Hutcherson.
