The Short-Lived Cleveland Stint and Roster Fallout
Dwyane Wade signed with Cleveland after negotiating a buyout with the Chicago Bulls, where he had played in 2016 following his departure from Miami. During his appearance on the Conversations With Cam Podcast, Wade recalled his rapid exit from Ohio. “No one knows I played for Cleveland,” Wade said, according to audio reported by Legion Hoops. “They got me out of there. I was there for about 3 months and they said ‘It’s time for you to go homeboy’.”
