The Prostate Cancer Foundation has launched its 100 Miles in November Run/Walk Challenge, inviting participants across the United States to complete 100 miles over the course of the month to fund lifesaving research. Participants can register independently, set their own pace, and utilize digital fundraising tools through Facebook or Funraise to support the initiative.
How the 100 Miles in November Challenge Works
Participants can join the challenge by registering and creating an online fundraising page through Facebook or through the alternative platform Funraise. Once a participant’s fundraiser receives its first donation, the Prostate Cancer Foundation ships a free challenge t-shirt, with processing and U.S. shipping taking up to two weeks. Throughout November, participants track their mileage and share progress updates. According to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, supporters who collect offline donations can mail checks directly to the organization’s headquarters at 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401, noting that mailed contributions are kept in internal records and cannot be added to online Facebook fundraising totals.
National Prostate Cancer Community and Fundraising Initiatives
ZERO Prostate Cancer holds a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, recognizing its financial health, accountability, and transparency over its 18-year history of hosting national events.

Participant Options and Support Channels
The Prostate Cancer Foundation accommodates different user preferences by supporting multiple engagement channels. While a private Facebook Challenge Group offers community motivation and weekly prize incentives for active fundraisers, individuals who do not use Facebook can complete the entire challenge using Funraise. Family members and friends who prefer not to use social media platforms can contribute directly through the Prostate Cancer Foundation website. Inquiries regarding registration, t-shirt shipments, and offline donations can be directed to the organization via email.
