The final round of the MechanExpert Technical Roadshows for 2026 reached its conclusion on Thursday evening at the Killyhevlin Industrial Estate in Enniskillen, wrapping up a multi-venue educational series for the automotive aftermarket. Organised by CD Group, the roadshow series combined manufacturer-led technical presentations with hands-on component demonstrations for working technicians and trade professionals across Ireland.
Trim Opener Highlights Cooling System Maintenance
The 2026 series kicked off earlier this week at the Castle Arch Hotel in Trim, backed on the opening night by SmartPart Motor Factors from Navan and Trim. CD Group reported strong attendance for the opening session, which featured a technical presentation from Gates. Representatives focused on the critical importance of cooling system flushing.
Following the presentation, Meyle deployed its dedicated training van to provide attendees with practical, hands-on demonstrations of its ATK range.
Dundalk Institute Hosts Second Roadshow Stop
From Trim, the roadshow convoy moved north to the Dundalk Institute of Technology for the second leg of the programme. Supported locally by John Laverty Motor Factors, the Dundalk venue hosted another packed house of automotive professionals and apprentices.
Meyle again led the evening’s core technical session, delivering structured training on aftermarket parts integration and diagnostic procedures.
Enniskillen Finale Prepares Trade for Autumn EXPO
The final stop of the 2026 MechanExpert Technical Roadshow took place on Thursday between 6 pm and 9 pm at the Killyhevlin Industrial Estate in Enniskillen. With the evening technical sessions concluded, CD Group shifts its operational focus toward the upcoming 2026 Auto Trade EXPO.
The national trade exhibition is scheduled to run alongside the CV Workshop EXPO from October 10th to 11th at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
