Designer Osmany Laffita is preparing a 140-piece spring and summer collection on a 65-meter runway at the PVA Expo Praha in Letňany on September 25, 2026. The Cuban-born designer, who has lived and worked in the Czech Republic for 39 years, is utilizing entirely new silhouettes rather than recycling past lines, according to his production announcements.

An Army of Models and Weekly Tailoring Sessions
The upcoming show features an extensive roster, deploying over 100 models alongside 10 models to display the 140 original designs. Laffita has developed the entire collection with the assistance of five women tailors, visiting their workshops weekly to refine individual pieces.
Paul van Dyk Collaboration and Automotive Sponsorship
The runway presentation includes a live musical accompaniment by world-renowned music producer Paul van Dyk, whom Laffita is also outfitting for the gala evening.
Automotive sponsor Import Car Group Classic is supplying luxury vehicles for the venue. Patrik Hemzal, director of the Brno-based company and a personal friend of the designer, has donated a 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL convertible to a charity auction held during the event, with all proceeds directed to the Kapka naděje foundation.
Star-Studded Guest List and Foundation Partnership
The guest list features prominent figures from Czech entertainment, business, and fashion, including Simona Krainová, Kristýna Pyszková, Kateřina Průšová, and Helena Vondráčková. Several models share the runway with veteran talent, including 13-year-old Vivien Hemzalová and her mother, Zuzana Hemzalová. Foundation president Vendula Pizingerová oversees the charity auction, which features the vintage Mercedes convertible.
